Dr. Adam Ball DC MScACN BHSc

Adam is a Doctor of Chiropractic, who has also received a Masters of Science in the area of Applied Clinical Nutrition, and a Bachelors of Science with honours in the area of Biology. He is also a Crossfit Level 1 trainer (and gym owner). He am passionately interested in all things related to health, nutrition and fitness.  He is honoured to have received the Forty under 40 award as well as the Bell Business Excellence Award for Best Business Startup.

Most chiropractors choose a direction that interests them and a framework they can treat from after leaving school. His direction and vision for health comes from his experiences learning about systems biology (both in the context of animal physiology and the study of ecosystems).

This approach to health has lead him to information from many different sources (Palmer, Chestnut, Cordain, Wolf, Eaton, Eades, Sisson, Lindeberg, etc.) that have all approached health their own ways. He has taken what makes the most sense to him from each of their areas of study and used it to design the treatment plans he prescribes to his patients. He is always looking to learn more and in that vein, appreciate any questions, comments or resources you would like to share.

Crystal Critch RMT

In June 2014, Crystal graduated from the 3-year Massage Therapy program at Georgian College in Barrie. Just a month after graduating, she passed both exams administered by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in Toronto so that she could begin practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist here at Real Life Health.

Throughout Crystal’s college career she had the opportunity to treat a wide variety of clients, in various different settings. These included; varsity athletes in the college gym, residents in a long-term care facility, patients in the cancer and palliative care unit of the hospital. Also, the general public, students, pregnant women and those who were diagnosed with fibromyalgia were all treated in the student clinic.

Crystal is originally from Killarney, a small village situated about an hour and a half from Sudbury, which is where she traveled to in order to attend high school at Marymount Academy. (Yes – that made for a pretty lengthy bus ride!)

Crystal will gather important information from your health history, and assess your movement capabilities in order to formulate an appropriate treatment plan for you. This will help her to determine which muscles should be addressed during your treatment, in order to reach your goals. Whether your goals are to decrease pain, optimize physical function, or just take some time to relax… Crystal is who you want to see!
